He spent two additional years receiving his advanced training in Pediatric Dentistry. He specializes in dentistry for infants, children, teenagers, young adults, and patients of any age with special needs. Certified in Laser Dentistry, he performs many dental treatments without “needles”, including cavities and oral soft tissue surgery. Dr. Marcus has extensive experience in Frenectomy procedures and has helped newborn patients that are “tongue-tied”, a condition which makes breast feeding difficult if not corrected immediately. His laser surgery treatments have helped patients of all ages to correct soft tissue problems including “gum” overgrowth after braces, allowing patients to see their beautiful smiles that he has helped the orthodontist to create. Dr. Marcus is an active member of Sinai Hospital at Lifebridge Health staff, where he treats patients that need sedation for their dental treatment. He has an exceptional working relationship with area Dentists and Medical Doctors, and continually attends advanced training programs in dental education and related medical programs to provide the most up to date oral health care services for his families. He has great success in getting children to stop their thumb or finger sucking habits, which helps the teeth to grow straighter and the childs self-esteem.
